Nicely priced, the Litepod really does the job! Its small, so it doesnt get in the way,wherever you put it, but does seem to make a difference when the winter blues set in. For people who suffer from SAD to any level i'd recommend getting a Litepod or something similar - ive had it a year now and last winter didnt feel anywhere near as bad as usual!

I'm generally rather dubious about claims for products of this type, but there seemed to be sufficient evidence in the literature to warrant giving it a try. Historically I've suffered a drop in energy during the winter months, which I used to think was normal for most people, but in recent years I thought it might be a mild case of SAD. I've now used the light box at my desk for about two hours on average each morning, most week days since October. The impact on health and fitness have been astonishing. Sleep patterns are very stable, carbohydrate cravings are diminished and energy levels are improved. The knock on effect is considerable as I have had more energy and enthusiasm to exercise hard through the winter and I find myself in better shape (resting heart rate down to 48, no winter weight gain and body fat % down to 13%) than I've ever been before in March. While I feel that most of the tangible fitness benefits are dietary and exercise related the enabler is clearly the light box. A great simple product.

I have used the lightbox everyday since i received it in September and have felt a noticable difference I have been less fatigued over the winter months I have slept 1/2 less than i did last winter at least

The SAD Light Box seems to be having a good affect. I am very pleased with it.

It has been very useful. I use both the sunset and sunrise features. The sunset certainly helps me to get to sleep faster and the sunrise helps me to wake up before the alarm goes off. I am going to try it out on the children over the Easter holidays and will probably then buy one for their room. I have also recommended it to other people who are affected by SAD.

The light box has been very useful I have it on next to my computer on a morning and it helps me to get going and during the winter months stopped me feeling so sleepy on an afternoon.

Best decision I ever made. After 3 years on SSRI's (paroxetine) I am finally coming off them thanks to a much improved winter. My light box is used every morning while i catch up on computer work and it really has made me feel so much more positive. I find my litepod of great benefit to myself and colleagues within close proximity of my work station. The light help lift mood and boost my concentration,my colleagues have remarked that on a dark day my light brightens the office and gives them that much needed lift.

I gave it to my mum as a gift as I had previously bought one for myself and she absolutely loved it and used it religiously through the dark winter months.

Thank you for the help you gave me in making sure that I had the most suitable light box. Within about four days of using it I definately began to feel better. I think that using the lightbox did make a slight difference to my energy levels during the winter months.

I would recommend these to anyone! it got me through the winter and after only a week i felt cheerier and less tired. I used it everyday until the days were brighter and light again, and i didnt have one down 'fed up with the grey weather' feeling. I will now never go a winter without one.

I use my SAD lamp at work and my colleagues would confirm that I am a much nicer person since it has been placed on my desk. I do not suffer mood swings anymore and my sleep is now much deeper at night. If you suffer from SAD, do yourself (and everyone around you) a favor, go and get a Litepod. As far as I am concerned, it's the best money I have spent in a long time.

Great product that appears to work well but to be fair we haven't used enough to know yet the limits of its potential. However, with a baby now on the way, we expect to use it in the coming autumn / winter months to offset potential ante-natal blues. That should provide a stern test! Very pleased with my light box. Just the right size to put on my desk, so that using it does not take any more time out of my day than I would normally, as I can have it on while i work.

I use to feel very run down and no energy and realised I might suffer from SAD. I decided to purchase a SAD lamp which I use when there is no sun and have found it very good. I did not think the lamp would work but, it has made me feel better in the winter months when the sunlight is very dim or none at all. This lamp is a good buy if you suffer from SAD. Thank You
